Job Description: Our client, a major employer in the Shannon region, has engaged with us to recruit a Senior Finance Manager to join their organisation and take on this permanent role. This position involves reporting directly to the Financial Controller and will play a key part in the Group Finance team. Responsibilities include taking ownership of monthly and annual close processes, overseeing day-to-day financials, assisting with financial assessments of commercial agreements, identifying cost improvement measures, monitoring capital budgets, managing internal and external audit processes * Taking ownership of month-end close process including preparing balance sheet accounts * Oversight over day-to-day accounting operations, coordinating VAT/Tax compliance reporting leading projects ,preparing information packs.
