About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in structural precast construction to lead the delivery of a major multi-storey precast car park project. This is a client-facing position where you will act as the primary liaison between the client and the project team, ensuring the scheme is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards. You will oversee all phases from design coordination through off-site precast manufacturing, site erection and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the main point of contact for the client, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
* Oversee the design coordination process with architects, structural engineers, and precast suppliers.
* Manage the construction programme, ensuring all milestones are achieved.
* Coordinate the off-site manufacturing and delivery schedule of precast components.
* Oversee on-site erection including cranage, sequencing, safety and quality control.
* Chair regular progress meetings and produce accurate project reports.
* Manage commercial aspects including budgets, variations and contract administration.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements.
* Work closely with the project team to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
* Drive the project to completion and oversee final handover to the client.
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within the construction sector.
* Proven track record delivering structural precast projects, ideally multi-storey car parks or similar large-scale structures.
* Strong knowledge of precast assembly methods, temporary works, lifting operations and waterproofing systems.
* Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience.
* Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent project planning software.
* Relevant qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
* CSCS/Safe Pass and relevant safety certifications.
