About The Role
Citco IT is a global team of IT professionals responsible for the development and support of IT applications across Citco Group’s divisions.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Developer to work within a very exciting and challenging role within the Bank IT Department.
The successful candidate will work with specialized technical teams serving a wide range of business groups. We are also seeking a Senior Manager to provide oversight and leadership across a portfolio of significant products and modules within our Banking platform. The Manager will set functional and/or regional direction for standards and processes for the Bank, oversee and manage the budget, and provide report metrics to Senior Management. Extensive experience delivering strategic wide development projects related to the investment banking or hedge fund industry is required. The Manager will build and direct a development organization in overall design, planning, and resourcing for all designated projects.
Responsibilities
Direct multiple development teams across different business lines, locations, and/or technology platforms.
Establish budgeting requirements and actively participate in the CITCO IT budget process; accurately estimate the size/complexity of software development projects.
Deliver complex software projects on time, on budget, and on scope with low production defect rates.
Triage systems during P1, P2, and other operational issues; implement short‑term fixes to resolve customer issues quickly, and develop long‑term strategic plans to ensure systems operate with minimal or zero operational downtime.
Ensure all audit and risk items are identified and closed in the expected time frame.
Drive organizational change and process improvement programs across the team; actively participate and lead cross‑functional and cross‑team improvement plans.
Recruits, trains, and mentors the development team.
Qualifications
Required IT Skills
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field.
Masters degree, PhD, or other advanced degree desirable.
5+ years of hands‑on development experience.
5+ years of relevant experience as manager of software development teams.
Beneficial IT Skills
AWS experience.
Application server deployments (JBoss/WildFly).
Messaging systems (e.g., IBM MQ).
CI/CD pipeline tooling for cloud and on-premise.
Personal Skills

Extensive knowledge of financial accounting.
Understanding of various technologies and tools.
