Legal Secretary
An experienced Legal Secretary is sought to join a leading law firm in Limerick city. The ideal candidate will have 4 years plus experience working in a busy legal environment and possess high speed typing and accuracy.
The Role:
This role involves arranging meetings/calls, maintaining diary/appointments, opening and scanning post, actioning matters accordingly, responding to enquiries, and organising travel arrangements. As the main contact person, you will answer queries as required and accurately relay information internally and to external bodies and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the filing system for solicitors, including indexing material, identifying, and opening new files, scanning and retrieving files efficiently on a day-to-day basis
• Prepare and type various documents, correspondence, legal submissions etc.
• Work efficiently using own initiative, take responsibility without direction, and use discretion at times
• Perform general office duties as required, always using your own initiative and prioritising tasks accordingly and ensuring confidentiality.
Requirements:
• 4 years plus experience working in a busy legal environment
• High speed typing and accuracy
• Dictaphone typing
• Organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use discretion and initiative
• Excellent attention to detail
Work Environment:
This position is being offered on a permanent basis, onsite in our client's office in Limerick city. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.
