Quality & Environmental Manager – South Kildare | Site-based | Permanent
Matrix Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quality & Environmental Manager for a client in County Kildare.
This is a site-based leadership role with responsibility for quality systems, environmental compliance, and sustainability performance across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 systems, ensuring full regulatory and audit compliance.
Lead EPA licence compliance, energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and environmental reporting.
Ensure products are fit for purpose, reduce customer complaints, manage QC testing, and investigate deviations.
Act as site lead with regulators, auditors, and group stakeholders, providing expert input when required.
Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in Quality & Environmental Management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and experience leading external audits.
Proven ability to lead change, improve product quality, and manage regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Confidence engaging with external authorities.
