Program Manager – Daily Rate Contract
Our client is looking for a Program Manager to join their team for an initial 6‑month contract with good potential for longer‑term extensions. The role requires experience at the Program Manager level and a background in Cloud Migration projects. Must be available to attend the office 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
* Co‑coordinate cross‑project activities.
* Lead project managers and manage week‑to‑week progress and activity.
* Develop and control deadlines, budgets and scope.
* Manage and resolve dependencies between the projects of the program.
* Manage the program risks, embedding the risk‑management process from the outset.
* Communicate regularly and effectively with all stakeholders and management.
* Prepare reports for stakeholders, IT teams and business leadership units.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience delivering Cloud Migrations (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
* Knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
* 3+ years as a Program Manager.
* Experience with software development life cycles and IT governance models.
* Understanding of Agile principles.
* Experience working within a matrix environment and geographically dispersed teams.
* Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques.
* Ability to create executive‑level communications.
* Ability to deliver regular & ad‑hoc program reporting.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office, MS Project.
* Outstanding leadership and organisational skills.
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
* Excellent problem‑solving ability and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves.
