The Job Role
As a Head Waiter/Waitress, you will supervise Food and Beverage outlet operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. You will communicate and delegate tasks to ensure departmental targets are met. Specific responsibilities include:
* Supervising Food and Beverage Outlet operations
* Communicating and delegating tasks to the team
* Ensuring compliance with brand standards
* Managing guest queries promptly and effectively
* Representing the needs of the team
* Assisting management in achieving financial targets
* Supporting training and development of team members
* Participating in annual and mid-year appraisals
* Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
* Being environmentally conscious
* Assisting other departments as needed and maintaining good relationships
The ideal candidate should have
* Good knowledge of Wines
* Previous Food and Beverage experience
* Commitment to high standards of customer service
* A positive attitude
* Good communication skills
* Flexibility to adapt to different work situations
* The ability to work independently or as part of a team
