An exciting opportunity for an experienced
Head of Process Development
to lead the development, optimization, and validation of enzymatic protein hydrolysates, bridging the gap between R&D and commercial production.
This role involves cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations, driving innovation in functional food ingredients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Take a new product from a lab environment to mid-sized manufacturing and ultimately a mass market
Define and lead the strategic roadmap for protein hydrolysis processes
Optimize upstream and downstream production for functional ingredients
Collaborate with R&D and Operations teams to ensure seamless commercial scale-up
Support new ingredient development and commercial readiness
What We\'re Looking For
PhD in
Biotechnology, Food Science, or a related field
Background working in food ingredients research.
10+ years
experience in process optimization and functional ingredient development
Proven track record in
protein hydrolysates and peptide commercialization
Strong
problem-solving and leadership skills
