About The Opportunity
The Privacy team at OKX/OKCoin fosters a culture of privacy compliance, advising on privacy principles and data practices to build trust and transparency. Our team comprises experienced risk professionals across global offices.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Manage legal and operational risks around sensitive information, develop policies, procedures, and training, and oversee data agreements.
2. Develop and maintain global privacy policies, procedures, and notices.
3. Conduct annual assessments of privacy programs, identify improvements, and ensure compliance with laws.
4. Create and deliver enterprise-wide privacy training with stakeholders.
5. Support Data Subject Rights operations and maintain records of processing activities.
6. Collaborate with legal and business teams to integrate privacy considerations into projects.
7. Guide onboarding and offboarding of third-party vendors regarding privacy.
8. Manage privacy metrics reporting and external privacy inquiries.
9. Lead Data Governance tool implementation in complex environments.
10. Implement comprehensive data privacy strategies aligned with business goals and regulations.
11. Conduct privacy training and awareness programs.
12. Manage Data Protection Impact Assessments to mitigate risks.
What We Look For In You
1. Knowledge of data privacy, protection, and regulatory frameworks like GDPR, CCPA/CPRA.
2. Experience with data architecture, profiling, quality, and metadata management.
3. At least four years in privacy governance and compliance, preferably in regulated or complex environments.
4. Strong understanding of information security and data protection.
5. Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic skills.
6. Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline.
