Electrical Control Panel Assembler
To assist in the layout, assembly, and wiring of electrical control panels, ensuring they are built to specification, quality standards, and production timelines.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assemble and wire control panels based on provided electrical drawings and layouts.
* Follow instructions from supervisors and senior staff to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
* Adhere to allocated timescales for individual and team tasks.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety policies.
* Collaborate with team members and communicate progress or issues effectively.
* Continuously develop knowledge of control panel building processes.
* Continuously improve the control panel building process by recommending suggestions for improvements.
Employee Specification:
* Educational Attainment: Essential Educated to GCSE Standard Grade C or above in English & Maths or equivalent.
* Work Experience: Essential Demonstrated experience of working in a panel building workshop or taking and following instructions completing work to allocated timescales. Desirable 1 year panel building experience preferred.
* Knowledge: Desirable Layout and assembling of control panels Understand the process of optimising efficiency and identifying waste.
* Skills and Abilities: Essential Can read and interpret electrical drawings Willing to learn and picks things up quickly Can provide examples of: Self-leadership, excellent communication - verbal and written, teamwork, problem solving, operational efficiency, initiative, collaboration and time management.
