Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our growing accounting firm.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing staff and practice processes, with experience in audits of small companies and CLGs. They should also possess excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
* Manage daily operations and team workflows to deliver work on time
* Supervise and review financial statements, management accounts, tax returns, and company and sole trader accounts
* Lead audits for small companies and CLGs
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Mentor junior staff and check their work for quality
* Help with planning and improving the practice
* Manage billing, work in progress, and debt collection with the principal
Requirements:
* ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification
* At least 5 years post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice
* Proven experience managing staff and practice operations
* Good knowledge of Irish accounting standards, tax, audit, and regulatory rules
* Experience auditing small companies and CLGs essential
* Familiar with Xero, Quick Books, Sage, IRIS, or similar software
* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
