Job Title: Clerical Officer Grade IV
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Administrative Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing, composing and typing correspondence, reports, minutes, and memoranda.
* Screening telephone calls, recording accurate messages, and forwarding them to relevant staff in a timely manner.
* Receiving all callers/visitors in a courteous, efficient, and confidential manner.
* Receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail and taking responsibility for the outgoing mail on a daily basis, ensuring efficiency in both respects, incorporating transfer of internal mail.
* Preparing documentation, reports, notices, and venues for meetings.
* Reception duties.
* Dealing with general queries.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have previous administrative or clerical experience, preferably in a public sector environment. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additionally, they should be able to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
