Assistant Accountant Our client a leading educational body are looking for an Assistant Accountant to support the financial management of research projects and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with strong financial sdministration experience.
This role is initially being offered on a contract basis and is to start asap Key Responsibilities: Prepare and submit financial claims and reports to external funders.
Assist with the financial management of research contracts, including budget monitoring, invoicing, and project close-out.
Maintain accurate financial records and project documentation in ERP systems.
Accounts payable & Accounts Receivable Support audits by preparing evidence and liaising with stakeholders.
Follow established financial processes and procedures, and contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Provide advice and resolve financial queries for researchers and partners.
Contribute to process improvements and keep up to date with funding requirements.
About You: Experience in financial management across financial administration Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Highly organised, accurate, and able to meet deadlines.
