Chillers Restaurant, Bar, and Lounge, located in the bustling Stephen's green area, are looking for a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy environment, have excellent leadership skills, and possess the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bar operations, ensuring a high standard of service, and leading a team of bar staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Management:
* Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
* Maintain inventory levels and manage stock control, including ordering and receiving supplies.
* Develop and implement bar menus and drink specials.
* Team Leadership:
* Supervise, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional service.
* Create and manage rotating staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage.
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development.
* Customer Service:
* Provide high-quality service and address any customer complaints or concerns promptly.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with regular customers and handle special requests.
* Financial Management:
* Monitor and manage bar expenses, including labor costs and wastage.
* Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
* Marketing and Promotions:
* Develop and execute promotional events and marketing strategies to drive business.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the bar's presence and reputation.
* Administrative Duties:
* Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff performance.
* Prepare reports for senior management as required.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a bar management role.
* Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of bar operations, including mixology, inventory management, and financial controls.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and make quick decisions.
