Job Title: Person in Charge
This is a management role where you will be responsible for leading and managing a team within our centre.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Person in Charge. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The Person in Charge will oversee the delivery of duties within the centre daily, ensuring that services are always being delivered to the highest possible quality and safety standards. This includes ensuring Personal Plans, Risk Assessments, and Behavioural Support Plans are up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Leading and managing a team of staff to provide support to people who use this service
* Coordinating the input required from other individuals such as members of the Clinical Team and other departmental supports
* Providing mentorship and leadership to their team on a daily basis
Additional responsibilities include providing formal supervisions, appraisals, and monthly team meetings, and overseeing the service as necessary across shifts to ensure effective and efficient services are delivered within the centre.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Level 7/8 Degree in a Health or Social related qualification (or suitable equivalent qualification with management qualification in healthcare)
* Full Clean Driver's license
* Minimum 3 years managerial experience within a similar health or social care setting
You must also possess strong leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and judgement making critical decisions and recommendations.
