Project Manager - Cork Industry: Medical Device/Pharma Job Summary: The Project Manager role is ideal for a proactive, adaptable and outgoing individual with strong project management experience and a strong ability to independently lead complex projects. This includes owning project timelines, tracking tasks, managing budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving execution, adapting in situations where processes are fluid and evolving. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to work on their own initiative, have strong follow-through and influencing skills as priorities often shift and fast-paced problem-solving is required. The right candidate will be naturally collaborative, able to navigate changing priorities and ability to take initiative to ensure accountability across all teams. Key Responsibilities Lead medium-to-large cross-functional development teams. Provide input to functional managers on team and individual performance. Influence and satisfy key project stakeholders throughout each project phase. Manage technical challenges related to technology applications and new product development, proactively identifying and mitigating risks with subject matter experts. Develop and implement project plans with embedded risk mitigations. Foster team ownership and commitment by outlining clear decision points and presenting data-driven recommendations. Develop and manage project budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Adhere to appropriate project roadmaps (e.g., PLCP process for NPI, Product Transfer roadmap for Site Transfers) and represent Operations on the Core Team. Lead the Operations team in completing all activities in compliance with current policies and practices. Ensure clear, tailored communication for different stakeholders, from project team updates to senior leadership reviews. Manage phase and business reviews, meeting minutes, issue logs, key metrics, and other critical project communications. Qualifications & Experience Education: Level 8 Honors Bachelors degree (240 credits) in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Science, Software, Manufacturing). A Level 9 (Masters) degree or Project Management qualification is an advantage. Experience: 5+ years of project management experience in an Operations or New Product Development environment. Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects across multiple functions Teams (e.g. Manufacturing, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Global Supply Chain) and/or multiple sites.
