Job Description:
Proclinical is seeking an Analytical Chemistry Specialist to provide essential analytical services and support within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining effective communication with various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver analytical chemistry services to support site operations.
- Collaborate with departments such as Quality Assurance, Production, Engineering, and Planning regarding raw materials and batch releases.
- Maintain and update chemical methods, specifications, and SOPs in line with regulatory requirements.
- Train analysts in new methods and updates, sharing expertise.
- Monitor and record results, complete investigations promptly, and communicate potential issues to the QC Team Leader.
- Ensure quality documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain QC laboratories in compliance with current Good Laboratory Practice (cGLP).
- Validate critical testing equipment as required.
- Audit and review chemistry test results daily for cGLP compliance.
- Check and audit laboratory notebooks and analytical reports.
- Ensure adherence to cGMP standards at all times.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Degree in Science, preferably Chemistry or Biochemistry.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong understanding of pharmacopoeial and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in maintaining and updating SOPs and quality documentation.
- Ability to train and guide team members effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of laboratory practice and compliance.
