You will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to a system that prioritizes compassion and person-centred care.Key Requirements:Honours degree in Psychology (QQI Level 8 or equivalent)Postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (or validated equivalent from another jurisdiction)Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in professional psychology (including at least 2 years post-qualification)Demonstrated competence in working with intellectual disabilities (through supervised placements or post-qualification experience)Full clean driving license and access to own vehicleEligibility to work in IrelandDesirable Experience:Working with adults with intellectual disabilities and neurodivergenceSupporting individuals with mental health challenges, dementia, and behaviours of concernPositive Behaviour Support assessment and interventionPsychometric assessments, including dementiaDesigning and monitoring therapeutic interventionsConsulting with families and professionalsInterest in research within intellectual disabilityBenefits Include:Public sector pay scale and annual leave allocationClinical supervision structure and opportunities to supervise traineesPaid parental and adoptive leaveHealth insurance group schemeProfessional development and training opportunitiesFree library facilitiesBike-to-Work and TaxSaver travel schemesFree parking Required Skills:
