Senior Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in either a community or acute setting, depending on your preference and skill set.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced OT assessment, treatment planning, and interventions in your area of specialization. You will also support complex discharges, rehabilitation goals, and person-centered care plans. Additionally, you will collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team across acute and/or community pathways.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience and registration with CORU. They will also have experience in one or more of the following areas: community, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, and older persons. Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical reasoning skills are essential for this role.

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to lead service development initiatives, participate in audits and quality improvement projects, and offer clinical supervision and support to junior colleagues and students. You will also maintain high-quality clinical records in accordance with HSE and CORU standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

* CORU Registration as an Occupational Therapist
* Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience (HSE senior criteria)
* Experience in one or more of the following areas: community, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, and older persons
* Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical reasoning skills
