About the Role
Swim Max is recruiting a full-time, on-site Front Desk & Customer Sales Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of our busy swim school in Limerick.
This is a hands on, customer facing role. You will be the first point of contact for parents and families, handling bookings, payments, enquiries, and follow ups in a fast paced environment.
This role suits someone who is comfortable speaking with customers, confident discussing prices and availability, and able to stay organised and calm during busy periods.
If you are looking for a quiet reception role or minimal customer interaction, this position will not be a fit.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Front Desk Operations
* Welcome families professionally and warmly on arrival
* Handle customer enquiries in person, by phone, email, and messaging
* Manage bookings, class availability, payments, and schedule changes
* Resolve routine customer issues confidently and escalate when required
Sales & Conversions
* Convert enquiries into paid bookings
* Follow up with prospective customers who have not completed bookings
* Clearly explain class options, pricing, and schedules
* Support retention by encouraging continued enrolment where appropriate
Standards & Professionalism
* Maintain high standards of communication, appearance, and conduct
* Ensure front desk and reception areas are kept tidy and organised
* Follow Swim Max procedures, policies, and customer service standards
Team & Operations Support
* Communicate clearly with instructors, supervisors, and management
* Report customer feedback, issues, or trends to management
* Attend required training sessions and team meetings
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Follow all Swim Max health and safety procedures
* Report incidents, accidents, or concerns promptly
* Maintain awareness of hygiene, fire safety, and security procedures
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
* Fluent English (spoken and written)
* Minimum 1 year experience in a similar customer-facing role
* Sales or booking experience required
* Confident using computers and Microsoft Office 365
* Comfortable handling payments and customer data
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Must already be living in Limerick with full legal entitlement to work in Ireland
* Own transport required (public transport is not reliable for all shifts)
Working Hours & Flexibility
* Full-time role
* Availability required between 7.30am and 10.30pm, Monday to Sunday
* Shifts scheduled based on business needs
* Flexibility is essential during peak periods
