The Food Production Chef is responsible for preparing and producing food in line with recipes, quality standards, and production schedules, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance with food safety regulations in a high-volume production environment.The role is a school term time, allowing staff to enjoy break's during Easter, Summer, Halloween, Christmas etc. This position is ideal for parents/guardians of school going children and those who appreciate longer breaks.Hours Monday to Friday 6am to 2pmKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook food according to set recipes and production plansEnsure consistency in portioning, taste, and presentation across all productsOperate kitchen and production equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safetyMonitor food quality and report any issues or inconsistenciesSupport batch cooking and large-scale food productionAssist with stock control, ingredient preparation, and waste reductionLabel, date, and store food correctly in line with food safety standardsClean and maintain workstations, utensils, and equipmentWork closely with the production team to meet daily output targetsSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience as a chef or cook in a food production or commercial kitchenStrong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen controlsAbility to follow standardized recipes and proceduresExperience with batch cooking and high-volume productionGood time management and ability to work to deadlinesQualifications (Preferred)Food Safety Level 2 or aboveCulinary qualification or equivalent experiencePersonal AttributesDetail-oriented with a focus on consistency and qualityReliable, punctual, and organisedAbility to work well under pressureTeam player with a professional attitudeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From €16.50 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Employee discountOn-site parkingExperience:HACCP: 1 year (preferred)Chef: 2 years (preferred)Work Location: In person
