Expert in IT Recruitment | ERF Contract Recruiter of the Year 2024 @ Sigmar Recruitment Senior Software Engineer – Daily Rate Contract with Leading Financial Services Company A brilliant opportunity to join one of the world's most recognised financial services firms, as they continue to scale their cloud-native development capabilities here in Dublin.
You'll be joining a highly skilled and collaborative engineering team working on APS Smart Intake applications — enhancing existing systems and building new ones, with a strong focus on AWS and Node.js.
This role requires 1 week per month onsite in Dublin (hybrid model) .
6 month contract (likely to run for multiple years)– €500–€525 per day – Must be based in Ireland
About Your New Job Develop and enhance cloud-native applications, primarily using Node.js and AWS Support and evolve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Serverless Framework, SAM, etc.)
Work closely with the existing team to maintain and improve Smart Intake applications Contribute to both backend and UI components (Angular experience a bonus) Troubleshoot issues, deliver scalable solutions, and help drive best practices across the team What Skills You Need 4+ years' software development experience Strong backend experience with Node.js and AWS Exposure to frontend frameworks like Angular, along with HTML5/CSS3 Solid understanding of cloud-native application development and deployment Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines – Jenkins, CloudFormation Templates, Serverless Framework Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a willingness to learn What's on Offer Initial 6 month contract with multiple extensions likely Hybrid Model : 2–3 days onsite per week in Dublin High-impact role in a global company with strong engineering culture Work with modern cloud tech on meaningful financial services projects Streamlined Interview Process to get you started quickly What's Next?
