Senior Structural Engineer
Our Client in Co. Meath is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to move to the next level of your career. You will take overall responsibility for the design and detailing of multistorey precast concrete buildings. This is a permanent role and a great opportunity to work with a well-established, successful construction company.
Responsibilities:
Design of building structures to the Eurocodes using various materials
Preparing manual calculations as well as using software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer and TEDDS. Knowledge of Tekla is desirable. Training also provided to assist with upskilling.
Maintaining design folders
Communication with internal and external parties
Preparation of design drawings and review of drawings prepared by others
Undertaking site inspections as required.
Report writing
Review of Contractor and Design Team proposals
Requirements for the role:
1. Minimum 5 years Structural Engineering experience
2. Proven experience in a similar industry
3. Ability to design and detail concrete frame structures
4. Good knowledge of the relevant design codes and regulations
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills
6. Strong Project Management skills
7. Degree Qualified in Civil/Structural Engineering
8. Highly organised with ability to prioritise own tasks with good time management;
9. Flexible in approach to work and a team player;
10. Good command of the English language
11. Salary will be in line with qualifications and experience.
