We have exciting opportunities forStaff NursesTo join our Residential ServicesPOSITION'S AVAILABLE:Permanent Full-time (37.5 hrs per week Monday to Sunday)You are:A dynamic and energetic team player with a passion for working with children/young people with intellectual disabilities. You are familiar with best practices in Nursing Care and apply these consistently in your work.We are:St. Catherine's Association is a non-profit organisation and registered charity funded by the HSE that provides health related supports to children and young adults with moderate to profound intellectual disabilities and autism in the Wicklow area. These services include Respite and Short Break Support Services, Adult Day Services and Residential Services and access to clinical supports through referral to Children's Disability Network Team.Job Role:· Deliver nursing care based on the assessed needs of the individual and develop agreed care plans.· Promote health and wellbeing in the individuals we support.· Monitor the health and wellbeing of the individual using nursing assessment tools where appropriate.· Provide evidence-based Nursing Care.· Assist in the development of Individual Programmes of personal and social development for each individual so as to ensure the highest quality and effective service.· Liaise with the families and other agencies involved in the individual's care, as appropriate.· Reports to: Residential Services Manager.Essential:· Registration with NMBI· Either RNID,RGN or RCN qualification.· Evidence of Continued Professional Development· An interest in working with individuals who have Intellectual Disabilities· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team· Full flexibility and reliability· Knowledge of HIQA regulations for persons with disabilities in residential services.Desirable:· Knowledge and previous experience in Clinical Care areas such as Enteral Feeding, Medication Management and Epilepsy Management· Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and medical needsBenefits:· HSE Consolidated Pay Scales· National Federation Voluntary Bodies Pension Scheme· Employee Wellbeing Initiatives· Refer a Friend Scheme· Christmas Savings Club· Excellent training opportunities· Staff Education Loans and Paid Study Leave· Bike to Work Scheme· Enhanced Annual Leave· Paid Maternity and Adoptive Leave * eligibility criteria· Sick Pay Scheme * eligibility criteriaClosing Date: 5pm Friday 28th November 2025Job Type: Full-timePay: €35,054.00-€53,318.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingEducation:Bachelor's (preferred)Licence/Certification:Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland registration (required)Work Location: In person
