APPLICATION SPECIALIST - ULTRASOUND
Location: Dublin/Leinster Based
Hours: Part Time (3 Days/Week); Permanent

JOB SUMMARY
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Application Specialist (Ultrasound) to join a well-established leader in the medical imaging sector. A trusted name in medical imaging and healthcare technology, our client partners with healthcare professionals across Ireland to enhance imaging performance and improve patient care.
The Application Specialist (Ultrasound) is responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support to our client's customers on ultrasound products. You will provide advanced clinical and technical support to customers, ensuring the optimal use of ultrasound systems across a range of applications. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training on image acquisition, workflow optimisation, and system functionality, while working closely with clinical teams to enhance diagnostic confidence and patient outcomes. Additionally, you will support the sales and applications team by providing product demonstrations, clinical insights, and ongoing post-installation support.
KEY ACTIVITIES
* Deliver high-quality customer training and ongoing application support
* Customer assistance in Image Optimization process
* Demonstrate features and benefits of products at trade shows, seminars, customer sites, etc
* Provide support to the Sales team where required
* Identify Application deficiencies ensuring timely escalation and resolution
* Self-training on Software changes
* Manage escalations in line with established procedures
* Provide detailed reports of Applications training and/or visits and record in CRM system
* Work with Project Managers to ensure sufficient resources available
* Collect and provide user feedback to help enhance or develop future products
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
* Clinical background with 2+ years relevant modality experience
* Educated to degree level or equivalent in Clinical Sonography
* Good knowledge of equipment
* Expert knowledge of Ultrasound exams, environment, and workflow
* Excellent English language skills, both written and oral
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
* Excellent communication skills including the ability to engage with all relevant stakeholders
* Strong team player
* Excellent and effective organisational, time management and planning skills
* Willing to travel - territory covers Republic of Ireland
* Experience of working cross-culturally would be an advantage
* May involve overnight stays
