My client is a leading engineering contractor specialising in the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure across Ireland and the UK. They continue to experience significant growth and are now seeking a Civil Project Manager to join their team for a major wastewater treatment project based in Lisgoold, Co. Cork.

Key Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Civil Project Manager role, ideally within water/wastewater.
* Level 8 degree in Civil Engineering.
* Strong knowledge of SHWW (Construction) Regulations 2013; Managing Safely certification an advantage.
* Hands-on experience with civil works including earthworks, concrete, precast, pipelaying and general building works.
* Strong understanding of programme management (Microsoft Project) with ability to prepare baseline programmes and updates.
* Confident in commercial engagement with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative and resolve issues during project delivery.
* Excellent IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
* Full, clean driving licence.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability standards are implemented and maintained onsite.
* Lead client interaction and maintain strong relationships with client representatives and third-party bodies.
* Manage and drive the civil engineering and building scope of works on the project.
* Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical and process engineering teams.
* Act as PSCS on live works and coordinate with PSDP/design teams to ensure all documentation is current and compliant.
* Carry out regular site inspections, toolbox talks and whiteboard meetings.
* Implement lean construction practices and Last Planner methods.
* Monitor project progress, risks, opportunities and financial performance.
* Report monthly to the Framework Manager on programme, budget and HSQE.
* Manage procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
* Oversee cashflow and ensure timely submission of interim payment applications.
* Participate in resource planning and provide support on tenders when required.
* Address client/stakeholder issues promptly and gather client satisfaction feedback.
* Keep up to date with best practice and CPD standards.
