Position
Reporting directly to the Safety Manager Airworthiness, this role focuses on investigating engineering-related safety occurrences and supporting continuous improvement within the Safety Management System. This rule will deputise Safety Manager Airworthiness.
For this position, Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting formal Engineering Investigations on safety occurrences and incidents raised in the reporting system
Preparing Investigation Reports and Safety Recommendations
Identifying and analysing safety trends arising from reported safety occurrences
Preparing periodic engineering safety reports and supporting the Safety Manager Airworthiness in risk assessments
Participating in Safety Promotion, utilising lessons learnt from reports and investigations
Supporting the administration of the IQSMS safety occurrences reporting system
Maintaining competence through continued education and training in the area of responsibility. The company will facilitate this process
Requirements
Qualifications
A relevant degree in engineering/aviation discipline or EASA Part 66 licence
Aviation engineering experience in CAMO and/or P-145 environment
Experience in working with reporting systems
Experience and knowledge in Safety Management Systems (SMS)
Strong oral and written communication skills
