Our Financial Services division focuses on financial services and helps banking, insurance, leasing and asset management groups succeed in an ever-changing and fast-paced world.
As part of our multidisciplinary and international transfer pricing team in Dublin, you will further develop the diverse aspects of transfer pricing.
You will support and advise clients on all transfer pricing matters, working closely with our international and corporate tax specialists across the EY network.
Responsibilities
Advise and assist clients in designing, implementing, and documenting their transfer pricing policies and strategies.
Provide fully integrated approaches to transfer pricing, by preparing documents/data files/models and assist in defending transfer pricing reviews and audits based on economic principles.
Model financial outcomes of cross border arrangements and assist in developing practical planning approaches.
Assist in negotiating Advance Pricing Arrangements with Irish Revenue and other tax authorities.
Support the project management of multiple engagements to ensure they are delivered timely and efficiently.
Assess client's financial transactions including debt capacity analysis, interest rate benchmarking, financial guarantees, cash pooling arrangements, derivatives, insurance agreements and asset management services.
Conduct factual investigations (such as conducting functional interviews with key employees to gain a good understanding of the organizations and their business).
Advise on the transfer pricing aspects related to restructurings within business units (including their valuations).
Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in financial transactions transfer pricing by actively participating in knowledge meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities within the team.
Qualifications
Knowledge in relevant fields like business, economics, finance, company law, tax law.
Specific financial services sector knowledge is a plus.
Attention to detail and experience in processing complex information and managing multiple data sources.
High interest in solving complex issues and independently working on new topics.
Excellent communication skills which enable you to provide succinct and well-informed recommendations to clients.

Analytical skills, strong affinity for numbers and a precise way of working.
Capability to analyse complex law provisions and contractual arrangements to understand implications on clients' business.

Previous transfer pricing experience is preferred but not strictly required for this role.
