A leading law firm is seeking a talented and ambitious Associate Lawyer to join its Corporate M&A team. The successful candidate will work on high-profile, complex transactions for a diverse client base, including multinational corporations, financial institutions, private equity firms, and emerging industry leaders. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team at the forefront of corporate legal practice.

Key Responsibilities

* Advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, and governance issues.
* Drafting and negotiating complex legal documents with precision and clarity.
* Collaborating with cross-border and interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless advice on multi-jurisdictional transactions.
* Providing commercially focused legal solutions tailored to meet client needs.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and trusted advice.
* Contributing to business development initiatives, including networking events, thought leadership activities, and identifying opportunities for new work streams.
* Staying informed about market trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in corporate law.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

The ideal candidate will have:

*** Admitted to practice law in Ireland, England or Wales.

* 2-4 years of relevant post-qualification experience (PQE) in Corporate/M&A from a top-tier or highly regarded law firm.
* Strong academic credentials with a proven track record of excellence.
* Exceptional technical skills in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
* A high level of commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic solutions to complex challenges.
* Excellent critical thinking skills with a calm and measured approach to problem-solving under pressure.
* The ability to manage competing priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
* A proactive mindset that embraces feedback and continuous professional development.
