Overview
At AtkinsRéalis is one of the world’s leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland. We are seeking a Senior Civil Water Engineer to contribute to water and wastewater networks and treatment, storage, supply and collection systems on transformational programmes for critical Irish infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Design and delivery of water and wastewater schemes at various project stages from feasibility to detailed design, contract document preparation and construction administration following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
Collaborate with teams in Ireland and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
Manage projects or support the Project Manager in the management and monitoring of project delivery within defined budget and programme requirements.
Understand, communicate and manage project risks.
Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What You Can Bring
Chartered Civil Engineer.
Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design and Design & Build.
Sound knowledge in water and/or wastewater treatment, storage solutions, hydraulics, water supply and wastewater collection systems and familiarity with current Ireland design standards and working practices.
Sound commercial, contractual and programme experience.
Ability to work within a team environment and under own initiative to achieve project goals.
Ability to communicate effectively.
