Part Qualified or Qualified Financial Accountant
Location: Sandyford, South Dublin

Our client is a long-established leader in the supply, installation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and specialist services across a broad range of public projects and private industries.
They have a reputation for high quality installations with a nationwide support and maintenance division. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a dynamic and proactive accountant to join their friendly and professional team in Dublin.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the accounts function, and the timely delivery of reports to senior management. The role involves reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll teams. This is a key role at the heart of the business, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is highly organised, and thrives in a busy, technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Month end reconciliations for 3 companies.
* Monthly/Quarterly VAT/PAYE/RCT returns for 3 companies.
* Weekly reports for business unit managers.
* Preparation of monthly & quarterly management accounts.
* Cash flow forecasting.
* Assisting with production of annual budgets.
* Assisting with production of year end group accounts for audit.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
* Qualified ACCA or similar or working towards same.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong MS Excel skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
* Experience in a construction or engineering environment and advantage but not essential.
