About the Opportunity
Our client, a global technology organisation, is hiring a Data Scientist to join their Dublin-based team.
This role focuses on programmatic advertising, bidding optimisation, and large-scale machine learning systems. You will work closely with international engineering and research teams on high-impact systems operating at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimise machine learning models for bidding, ranking, and ad delivery
Improve performance of auction-based systems and recommendation pipelines
Analyse large-scale datasets to identify optimisation opportunities
Design and run A/B tests to evaluate model performance
Build and maintain data pipelines and feature engineering workflows
Collaborate with global teams to deploy models into production
Requirements
2–6+ years experience in Data Science or Machine Learning
Strong Python skills (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow)
Experience working with large-scale data (SQL, Spark, Hadoop)
Solid understanding of machine learning and statistical methods
Experience working on production ML systems
Preferred Experience
Recommendation systems, ranking, or optimisation problems
Programmatic advertising, RTB, or bidding systems
Reinforcement learning or sequential decision-making
Experience in global or distributed teams
Language Requirement
Fluent Mandarin and English are required
