Financial Operations Associate
Our organization seeks an organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Associate with fluency in Mandarin and English to work on clearing transactions, business settlements, and operational processes within a financial services environment.
Job Responsibilities:
* Process inward and outward clearing transactions, electronic payments, and settlements.
* Collaborate with front office, compliance, and operational teams to ensure timely transaction processing.
* Resolve daily operational issues related to clearing services and maintain effective communication with internal teams.
* Ensure adherence to regulatory standards by updating and adhering to procedural manuals.
* Review and implement contingency procedures for clearing operations.
* Oversee and manage the implementation of new services/products, ensuring smooth execution.
* Participate in business continuity planning (BCP) drills and system enhancements.
* Escalate and resolve operational issues, prepare incident reports, and recommend improvements.
Candidate Profile:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, IT, or a related field.
* Previous experience in the finance or banking industry is preferred.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with a proactive approach.
* IT proficiency, including experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin (essential).
* Strong communication and report-writing skills.
