The role of a Technical Hard Services Manager at Apelona UK involves overseeing a site maintenance team to ensure high standards in Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost.
Main duties include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on equipment as per the Plant CMMS / CAFM system.
* Proactively identifying and remedying equipment maintenance issues to maximize uptime.
* Servicing mechanical, electrical, and non-technical equipment.
* Liaising with the service desk / supervisor and responding to queries in a timely manner.
* Performing fault finding and repairs to broken down equipment.
* Managing people and allocating resources effectively.
* Maintaining appropriate records in line with cGMP requirements.
Flexibility is key, with technicians expected to work across various areas of the plant as required. Effective communication with production engineers and other support personnel is also essential for problem-solving and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements for the role include:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* A Certificate /Diploma or Senior Trades in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation.
* High organizational skills and a methodical approach.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and automation.
