The ideal candidate will be required to actively and passionately convert customer enquiries into confirm bookings and ensure events are perfectly delivered.This is Ireland's first Hyatt Hotel. Adjacent to St Patrick's Cathedral, this 234 bedroom 4 Star property will include restaurant, bar, meeting and event facilities and fitness centre. You'll play an important role in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests, while gaining invaluable exposure to dealing with many international clients.What will I be doing?Utilising various event platform tools and software to quote for events such as CVENT, Venue Directory, Venue Search.Coordinates and communicates verbally and in writing with the customer and hotel operations the details of the event. Attains and provides Post-event feedback.Maintains the customer relationship from the confirmation of booking to the post event phase and forwarding details to sales for solicitation for future events.Makes presence known to customer during the entire event process. Is available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements.Greets customer during the event phase and hands off to operations for the execution of details.Works with hotel staff in solving operational challenges for timings of events etcInvolved with customer site inspections.Can or may lead pre-event and post-event meetings for assigned groups.Adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures (Standards, SOPs, LSOPs, etc.).Manages group room blocks and meeting space of assigned groups.It would be advantageous in this position for you to have the following:Previous experience in the same or similar role at a hotel or events venueDegree in Hospitality / Event Management (optional) or recent graduate
