About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Biostatistician to lead our Medical Affairs team in clinical trials. As Principal Biostatistician, you will be responsible for directing statistical activities and providing expert guidance on data analysis.
This is a highly visible role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of biostatistical principles.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement statistical plans for clinical trials, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
* Provide mentorship and training to junior biostatisticians, promoting their growth and development
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute studies, leveraging expertise in statistical analysis and programming
* Analyze complex data sets, identifying trends and insights that inform business decisions
* Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including project sponsors and senior management
Requirements
* Advanced degree in biostatistics or a related field (e.g., statistics, mathematics)
* Proven experience in leading biostatistical teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent programming skills, with proficiency in SAS, R, or other relevant languages
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
* Bonus Requirements
* Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and industry standards for clinical trial data analysis
* Experience with data visualization tools and techniques, such as Tableau or Power BI
