Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ward Nurse to join our dynamic team at Avoca Clinic.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cosmetic surgery procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to patients in the ward.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, promptly addressing any concerns.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients throughout their recovery process.
Ensure all nursing documentation is accurate and up to date.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in accordance with clinical standards and infection control guidelines.
Requirements
Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification with a valid NMBI registration.
Minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience, preferably in a surgical or ward setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A compassionate and patient-focused approach to nursing.
