Team/Role Overview
The leadership role is within the Financial Reporting and Regulatory Reporting team under the global Fund Services team. The role requires a dynamic individual to focus on service delivery and strategic projects. Responsibilities include oversight and review of financial statements, coordinating year‑end audits, and supporting regulatory filings.
What you’ll do
Ensuring timely and accurate deliverables for financial, client and regulatory reporting in the most efficient manner.
Coordinate year‑end external audits for Citi Fund Admin clients.
Regulatory reporting through the Confluence NXT reporting platform.
Support the VP in driving a governance culture within the team.
Work with colleagues in global locations and technology vendors.
Keep the VP apprised of potential or emerging issues.
Stakeholder relationship management, internally and externally, including external auditors and the CBI.
Onboard clients onto the Confluence Unity Platform for production of financial statements.
What we’ll need from you
Extensive experience in financial reporting within a fund administrator, Big 4 audit, fund accounting, finance, or business‑related area.
Experience in the financial statements process for funds and managing the external audits.
Experience in fund administration, change management or project management.
Knowledge of the Confluence Unity and NXT reporting platforms beneficial but not essential.
Strong technical expertise on accounting for financial instruments and strong analytical skills.
Experience training offshore teams to high standards and keeping them updated with accounting and regulatory changes.
Strong communication skills with practical experience dealing directly with clients and presenting at board and client meetings.
Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage a workload.
Keep up to date on accounting standards and regulatory change and ensure a consistent approach is applied by the team.
Maintain a high level of integrity, a commitment to service excellence and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
Deputize as required for the VP of the group.
Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent experience.
Holding or pursuing an ACCA/CPA/ACA qualification.
