Job Description:
Our client, a hospital based in Westmeath, wishes to recruit a Theatre Anaesthetics Nurse. This is a full-time, permanent position for nurses who are dual qualified in Paediatrics and General nursing.
Requirements:
* Must be registered with NMBI.
* A recognised post-registration nursing course – Higher Diploma or Post Graduate course in nursing (Adult & Paediatric) – is desirable or in pursuit of same.
* Provide direct nursing care to adult and paediatric patients undergoing anaesthesia in the theatre.
* Liaise with theatre consultants regarding patient care and treatment.
* Must have valid work permits.
* At least 1 year of anaesthetics experience, preferably in an Irish hospital or strong theatre experience from your home country.
* Excellent patient care and a caring nature.
* Computer literate.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
