Job Title: Assistant Night Manager - A Key Role in Ensuring Smooth Hotel Operations
Job Role:
The Assistant Night Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during night shifts. This involves delivering the highest level of customer service while maintaining overall health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
* Maintain overall health and safety standards at night, including conducting fire walks, security checks, and performing other relevant health and safety duties such as first aid.
* Perform front office duties, including assisting with the night audit report and facilitating guest check-in and check-out processes.
* Collaborate with the Night Porters, overseeing their nightly tasks and ensuring they are fulfilled efficiently.
* Provide food and beverage service to guests during the night hours.
* Support the team in achieving operational goals through mystery audits, customer comment indexes, quality evaluations, and adherence to hotel standards.
* Aid in the development of the Night team, preparing them for career advancement opportunities.
* Contribute to the strategic operations of the hotel by providing insights and suggestions based on nightly observations and activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a similar night or reception role, with excellent knowledge of the hotel business and previous hospitality experience. They must also possess good computer skills and knowledge of Opera, as well as Brilliant electronic front office system. Additionally, strong people leadership and development skills are essential.
