Social Care Worker required for adolescents in a secure care environment.
Job Specification
Provide care and support to adolescents from ages ******* years
To contribute to the promotion, creation and maintenance of a welcoming and caring environment and to a high standard of child care practice throughout the unit.
To contribute to the provision of a programme of stimulating activities for the children and young people.
To ensure that all relevant records within the unit are updated regularly.
Provide support to young people to engage with educational activities.
Support young people in maintaining contact and access visits with their family.
Adhere to the organisational policies and reporting requirements.
Observing and recording observations of the young people in the care of the service.
Person Specification
Experience working with adolescents ideally in a residential care/secure care environment.
Experience working with challenging behaviour is advantageous.
Relevant degree in Social Care
Flexible to work roster arrangement as required.
This role offers great experience, Tusla pay rates and a secure care allowance
