About the Role: As a Workday Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial part in helping clients maximize the value of their Workday system through seamless integrations with other enterprise applications. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement integrations that embed Workday into a client's system landscape.
You will partner with specialists across HR, Payroll, IT and Finance to deliver end-to-end value for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and design integration solutions that align with their organizational needs.
* Develop and configure Workday integration solutions using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Core Connectors, and other integration tools.
* Implement data transformations, mappings, and validations to ensure accurate and efficient data flow between Workday and external systems.
* Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and performance of integration solutions.
You will also provide guidance and support to clients on integration best practices, data governance, and security considerations. Staying updated on the latest Workday releases, features, and integration capabilities is essential, and you will proactively suggest improvements and innovative solutions.
About You:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Previous experience as a Workday Integration Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of Workday and its integration tools.
* Proficiency in developing and configuring integration solutions using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and other integration tools.
* Solid understanding of integration concepts, such as web services (SOAP, REST), XML, XSLT, and API integration frameworks.
* Experience with Workday integration technologies, including Workday Studio, Workday Web Services, and Workday Report Writer.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
