About The Role
As a Sustainability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in conducting energy audits, implementing energy efficiency measures, and supporting the development of sustainable energy strategies for our diverse client base. You will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions that align with national and international sustainability goals.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 7) or higher in Energy Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in energy engineering, sustainability consulting, or a related discipline.
Experience completing energy audits (S.I. 426 Compliance).
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Irish building regulations, energy performance standards, and sustainability certification systems (Climate Action Plan Targets).
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organisational and time‑management skills.
Driving Licence: Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Desirable Requirements
ISO50001 Implementation/Maintenance Experience.
CEM/CEA Accreditation.
Experience with energy modelling software, building energy simulations, and thermal comfort analysis (BER Certification/Part L Compliance).
