Building Services Manager Job Description
The Building Services Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the management and implementation of building services. This key member of the project delivery team is responsible for coordinating electrical and mechanical activities, managing resources efficiently, and upholding uncompromising standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate all phases of the MEP services project delivery cycle from pre-construction and planning to testing and commissioning.
* Ensure design team information and details are coordinated in time for project delivery activities.
* Implement MEP deliverables on the project.
* Maintain a high level of safety in MEP works.
* Inspect installation works against approved quality plans.
* Monitor programmes and review installation progress of MEP services.
* Collaborate with the design team, MEP subcontractors, and the wider project team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Mechanical or Electrical third-level qualification.
* Seven years' experience in building services coordination.
* Previous main contractor experience is advantageous.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Client-focused approach.
