This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated healthcare professional with prior experience in an IVF or fertility clinic setting. The role will involve supporting patients throughout their fertility journey, assisting in our state-of-the-art theatre, and working closely with our clinical and embryology teams.
Full training will be provided in all aspects of the role, with ongoing support and professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing phlebotomy and handling patient samples with accuracy and care
* Supporting patients during procedures and consultations
* Assisting in theatre, ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety
* Collaborating with the wider clinical and embryology teams to deliver seamless patient care
* Maintaining accurate records in line with clinic policies and regulations
About You
* A QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support (or equivalent qualification in a health & welfare domain)
* Must include the core modules: Care Skills, Care of the Older Person, and Safety & Health at Work
* Previous experience working in an IVF or fertility clinic is essential
* Qualified and experienced in phlebotomy
* Excellent communication and patient care skills
* Fluency in English is essential
* Garda vetting, occupational health clearance, and up-to-date immunisations will be required
* Strong attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team, and a compassionate approach to patient care
