The MooreHaven Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Support Worker to join our Residential Service in Tipperary Town. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred, home-like environment where dignity, respect, and independence are at the heart of everything we do.
Relief shifts are also available across our various residential services for those interested in picking up additional hours.
Key Responsibilities
* Support residents in daily living activities and promote independence.
* Provide personal care and implement individualised care plans.
* Encourage participation in community, social, and recreational activities.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
* QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (or equivalent).
* Minimum 6 months' experience supporting adults with an intellectual disability.
* Full clean Irish/EU driving licence (learners with test booked will be considered).
