Financial Reporting and General Ledger Specialist
Are you an accomplished financial professional seeking a new challenge in international accounting? We are looking for a skilled Financial Reporting and General Ledger Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing general ledger reconciliations, preparing monthly management accounts, and handling payroll accounting.
Duties:
1. Prepare detailed financial reports, including trial balances and profit & loss analysis
2. Manage general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
3. Handle payroll accounting, VAT, corporation tax, and other statutory filings
4. Support KPI reporting, budgeting, and financial statement preparation
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls
6. Drive process improvements and contribute to finance transformation projects
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience in GL accounting, financial reporting, or commercial finance
* Fluency in Italian and English
* Strong Excel and ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
