Role Overview:
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role seeks versatile freelance writers to help build the foundation of next-generation AI models. You will produce high-quality, original written content across a wide variety of formats—from creative storytelling and blog posts to professional emails and technical summaries—providing the "gold standard" examples the AI needs to learn natural, engaging human communication.
Key Responsibilities:
* Write original, high-quality content across diverse genres and formats (e.g., creative fiction, persuasive essays, business communications, and instructional guides).
* Rewrite AI-generated drafts to improve flow, readability, and human-like tone, demonstrating how to elevate basic text into polished prose.
* strictly follow complex style guides and project-specific instructions to ensure training data meets precise formatting and tonal requirements.
* Research and write factual summaries or explanations on a wide range of general knowledge topics to test the AI's information retrieval capabilities.
* Review and grade text for grammatical accuracy, syntactic variety, and stylistic consistency.
Qualifications:
* Professional experience as a freelance writer, copywriter, content creator, or journalist (a portfolio of diverse writing samples is highly preferred).
* Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and syntax, with an intuitive grasp of what makes writing "good."
* Versatility in writing style; ability to switch easily between formal, casual, creative, and technical voices.
* Strong ability to follow detailed briefs and guidelines without deviating.
* Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Rate:
Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).
* Flexibility:
100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours.
