This role focuses on driving technology improvements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining system security and performance, and leading strategic ICT initiatives. The Specialist will mentor junior staff and promote continuous improvement across ICT operations.Role & Responsibilities:Provide technical guidance to development teams and oversee Microsoft 365 tenants including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, Power Platform, and Power BI.Manage on-premises systems such as Active Directory/ADFS, Group Policy, Azure AD (Entra ID), Exchange, and SharePoint.Develop automation strategies using AI, PowerShell, Power Platform, and Logic Apps to streamline workflows.Lead new solution implementations and migrations from on-premises infrastructure.Deliver Level 3 technical support and function as an escalation point for complex ICT service issues.Use call logging software to manage incident documentation and ensure SLA compliance.Oversee governance processes including monitoring logs, alerts, and maintenance plans; ensure ITIL compliance.Participate in audits and penetration testing, leading the implementation of remediation actions.Maintain high customer satisfaction by supporting teams through change and providing training and upskilling.Collaborate across multiple teams to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceStrong technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and Endpoint Manager (Intune).Experience with automation tools including PowerShell, Power Platform, Logic Apps, and AI technologies.In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes, governance, compliance, and audit requirements. Experience:Minimum 10+ years of experience in ICT administration, systems operations, and support roles.Proven history of managing complex ICT environments and providing Level 3 technical support.Experience leading strategic ICT projects, mentoring staff, and driving continuous process improvements. Education & Certifications:Relevant third-level qualification (e.g., Degree) or equivalent desirable.Advanced certifications in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, or related technologies highly desirable.
