PEP Engineer – Mobile Engine Services
Location: Hybrid after 6 months/ Site-based for training purposes Job Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for a PEP Engineer to support aircraft engine maintenance activities within a Mobile Engine Services (MES) environment. This role plays a key part in planning, preparing and supporting complex engine repair events, ensuring work is clearly defined, technically correct and delivered in line with customer and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with engineering, planning, operations and customer-facing teams to ensure safe, efficient and well-organised maintenance events, both on-site and in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and define maintenance work scopes in line with customer requirements
Work closely with Customer Support, Operations and Customer Service teams to plan maintenance events
Draft, create and revise job cards using approved maintenance data
Support the planning and execution of engine repair across multiple disciplines
Provide technical support during maintenance, including troubleshooting, reviewing findings and producing inspection reports
Record and report observed engine hardware condition accurately
Liaise with OEMs and external stakeholders to support maintenance activities
Support in-station and in-field MES events, including occasional out-of-hours support
Assist with the introduction of new engine types, products and repair methods
Develop, improve and implement planning and production processes for engine repairs
Maintain and improve planning and master data to support efficient event flow
Deliver training and instructions to support new methods, processes, tools or equipment
Support the training and development of junior PEP Engineers and other team members
Support customer-facing discussions by providing technical input when required
Participate in or lead special projects to support operational and business needs

Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Experience in an aircraft or engine maintenance environment is desirable
Previous experience in engine MRO (repair, inspection, planning, operations or engineering) is an advantage
Good understanding of turbofan engine maintenance concepts, procedures, tooling and documentation
IT Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Willing and able to learn new systems and IT tools to support business needs
